Have I finally witnessed that the Sharks care about winning at home? I cannot believe it. The Canucks are a good team, winning a lot lately and the sharks last night showed how dominant they can be when they are clicking... The Sharks drew many penalties because they kept skating and the nucks paid for it... twice.
Nabby gave up another fluky goal. It seems it has to be a weird off angle shot lately to people. I guess you have to always be aware of those kind of funky shots. Otherwise he could have escaped with a shutout. He did redeem himself when he stopped Daniel Sedin.
But they had the nucks number, and made them look like a below average team. Good to see the defense jump up into the offense, its a good thing they are starting to pick up momentum, especially at this time of year when it starts to matter.

Sharks Defensively taking care of business
Besides a couple of mistakes over the last few games, the sharks have been on a terror with defending their net. Nabby is doing a great job being in position, and not giving many big rebounds. The defensive crew are finally sound enough not to worry about who is going to be put on the ice. They are about to play Vancouver and Toronto this coming week, so they should be able to put these guys away. I am way more worried about streaking Phoenix who have won 5 straight and I think 10 0f 12 last games. Ever since they picked up Bryzgalov (SP?) they have a solid defensive to build off of. Since the great one is coaching them, they are now confident they can win. Nice to see a losing team, pull back from the bottom with a few changes to their roster. Not that I want Phoenix to beat SJ, though
